If you look at the screenshots from comments # 7 and # 8, you will see that this problem DOES NOT EXIST if I boot Ubuntu into either of the XFCE or LXDE desktops. So the problem cannot be with KMyMoney. Unity is the most obvious suspect. Rohan, I agree with your opinion. It would be wonderful if the Unity team could review this bug.
