*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 935778 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/935778
There is some work in progress towards fixing this bug, under the duplicate report #935778. There is now a kernel that does successfully allow the brightness to be changed after suspend, albeit with a few unresolved issues. I am marking this bug as a duplicate of #935778 to keep everything together with the (closest) solution. ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 935778 Toshiba R840 - brightness controls work on first boot, but do nothing after suspend/resume -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/606547 Title: toshiba_acpi no control of display backlight after suspend to ram To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/606547/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
