I can confirm that lp:me-tv when compiled works fine as long as you delete ~/.local/share/me-tv/me-tv.db first and recreate all the channel information. I am having a small difficulty with the fact that the channel list generated during GNOME DVB setup appears not to be a well- formed XML document.
