$ cat /etc/issue Ubuntu 11.10 Shortly after reboot, two kworker processes run at about 20% CPU. Sometimes the mouse is getting somehow viscous and lagged. echo N> /sys/module/drm_kms_helper/parameters/poll This removes the high amount of CPU demand. But nevertheless, the processes stay on top with a demand of 2%. So this seems to reduce the problem, but it does not solve it. Is there any way to get more information out of kworker? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/887793 Title: Kworker constantly taking about 100% CPU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/887793/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
