I have the same problem on a Thinkpad X1, running precise. Unless I'm mistaken, it appears to be related to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47535 For me, setting INTEL_HIZ="0", as mentioned in the linked bug report, stops the lockup in webGL.
