Hi Robert, Thanks for trying to repro, but looking at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/notification-daemon/+bug/214073 it doesn't appear it is one of the bugs I reported (although I may well have sent in an apport crash report on the same bug).
If this is the one where a message comes up on the notification bar asking for a bug to be filed, I have not seen that happen on Oneric, and even when it was happening it was sporadic with no particular repro steps. I just followed the link on the notification and filed bugs in case the attached info would help track down the bug.
