Public bug reported: I installed the classic gnome-session-fallback and it looks pretty much like the old 10.04 Desktop but there are two major problems. The "Application" and "Places" menu fonts are to dark (i did not use any theming that i know of) and I'm unable to remove Application starters that i dragged from the menus to the Panel.
reproduce: 1) start Gnome classic (_with_ effects) 2) drag&drop some application from the menu to the panel 3) try to rightclick the starter and remove it again expected result: menu entry that enables you to remove the starter icon again actual result: there is no option to remove the starter icon. not via contextmenu and not via drag&drop to the trash or something. modifier keys also do not enable you to remove the icon from the panel ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: gnome-session-fallback 3.2.1-0ubuntu6 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-22.35-generic 3.2.14 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-22-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ApportVersion: 2.0-0ubuntu4 Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon Apr 9 15:37:43 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release amd64 (20111012) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=de:en TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-session UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-03-14 (25 days ago) ** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug precise third-party-packages -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/977233 Title: gnome classic panel icons not removable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-session/+bug/977233/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
