A look at the synaptic installed files section shows: /. /usr /usr/bin /usr/bin/bat2gts /usr/bin/gerris2D /usr/bin/gerris3D /usr/bin/gfs-config /usr/bin/gfs-highlight /usr/bin/gfs2doc /usr/bin/gfs2gfs /usr/bin/gfs2oogl2D /usr/bin/gfs2oogl3D /usr/bin/gfscompare2D /usr/bin/gfscompare3D /usr/bin/gfsjoin /usr/bin/gfsjoin2D /usr/bin/gfsjoin3D /usr/bin/gfsxref /usr/bin/kdtquery /usr/bin/ppm2mpeg /usr/bin/ppm2theora /usr/bin/ppm2video /usr/bin/ppmcombine /usr/bin/shapes /usr/bin/streamanime /usr/bin/xyz2kdt There is no gerris itself. So looks like gerris is a agglomeration of subprograms. With this: Yes there is a distinction between gerris and gerris3D. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/976003 Title: gerris gives wrong help To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gerris/+bug/976003/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
