I believe this is the same problem as Bug #815055 and #903422. This bug seems to have been fixed in the newly released libmtp 1.1.3 see here http://sourceforge.net/projects/libmtp/files/libmtp/1.1.3/
I think it would probably also be a good idea to upgrade mtpfs to 1.1 http://www.adebenham.com/mtpfs/ (current version is 0.9-3) Not sure where to go from here but I hope it helps. ** Changed in: libmtp (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/696301 Title: Samsung Galaxy S detected but cannot be connected to To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/banshee/+bug/696301/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
