Public bug reported: I am on Ubuntu12.04 64bit updated to 7.4.2012.
On first start on geda circuit editor (gschem), beside the main window of the editor there pops up also a information window in the foreground. This information window is malformed. It is sized much to low in every direction, so that there is only mainly the closing button visible and the textbox with user information is not visible. I attach a screenshot, where it could be seen(look for the window with the button "Schließen"(german for closing).
