Can you please set CUPS into debug mode (as described under "CUPS error_log" on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems, log out and log in again, cancel all stuck print jobs, then print your PDF file, and after it comes out, print a PDF file again (will fail), wait some minutes and then attach the error_log to this bug report (follow the instructions under "CUPS error_log" on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems). Attach also /var/log/syslog. Do not compress or package these files, attach them one by one. Thanks.
