Public bug reported: When selecting "Logout" from a Windows XP virtual machine, the viewer closes, and a dialog box is shown briefly. Almost immediately, however, the viewer logs back in to the virtual machine. Expected behavior, and behavior from previous releases of Ubuntu and Debian, would be to stay logged out. If one is very quick, one can click "Cancel" to stop the automatic login, but I have to put my machine under heavy load to make the dialog stay up long enough to click, so that's not really an option.
See this bug report: http://code.google.com/p/vmware-view-open-client/issues/detail?id=100 As mentioned there, packages from Natty and Debian Squeeze show this behavior when installed in Oeneric, so this may be a problem with a related package, but I haven't been able to track down which one yet.
