Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce: 1. Start the ubuntu installer from the CD 2. Choose Ubuntu MAAS installation or Enlistment 3. Continue with the installation process until the option to manually enlist this node into a MAAS server shows up 4. Choose to manually enter an address 5. Enter foobar as the address 6. Continue
What happens: The installer sends a signal to kill all processes and powers off the machine. When the machine is rebooted, it doesn't enlist itself in the MAAS server What should happen: The installer should say there's no MAAS server at the address and ask the user to try again with a different address. ** Affects: maas (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/973414 Title: Installer dies if invalid MAAS server is chosen during enlistment To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/maas/+bug/973414/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
