I'm not able to perform the bisect. I restarted from scratch and tried to build the most recent kernel before attempting any bisect operation. The build is running on my computer, but it is going quite slow. I let it run for 1.5 hours the first night before I had to stop it to shutdown. I then restarted it the next night. It continued from where it had stopped initially, but after more than 2 hours I had to stop it again so I don't know the exact time it takes to build, but it is pushing 4 hours at this point.
At this rate, I wouldn't be able to do more than one bisect a day. The original bisect status showed over 850 commits that needed to be bisected. It would take me a couple of weeks to complete the process. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/970286 Title: Kernel Oops - BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at (null); EIP is at asus_new_rfkill+0x99/0xf0 [asus_wmi] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/970286/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
