Thanks for reporting this issue. I am able to reproduce this on Ubuntu Precise. I noticed when I tried to run it from the terminal I got the following error message: bash: /usr/bin/kpp: Permission denied
However, if I try to run either "kdesudo kppp" or "gksu kppp" to start it starts as normal. I suspect the desktop file needs to be updated to open it with administrative rights, like for instance synaptic. ** Changed in: kdenetwork (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdenetwork in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/970889 Title: kppp don't start clicking on it from KMenu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdenetwork/+bug/970889/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
