I had the same problem. Brian Murray's suggestion fixed it. Thanx! It seems like this is a problem everyone will encounter if they format any of the partitions which are automaticaly mounted through fstab. I would think it very helpfull if fsck could be a little bit more verbose about it. Well well this is probably not the right place. Thanx again!
