Public bug reported: As near as I can tell, ia32-libs-multiarch seems to have gone missing entirely from Precise repos. I've had a few apps uninstalled by apt-get (most notably google-earth-stable), and now ia32-libs is reporting unmet dependencies (ia32-libs-multiarch) when attempting to re-install it. Only ia32-libs appears when using apt autocomplete in bash, and I couldn't locate ia32-libs-multiarch in package list using Synaptic.
I have confirmed that dpkg config has the "foreign architecture i386" setting as specified in Precise Beta 2 release notes. ** Affects: ia32-libs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apt repository -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/971599 Title: ia32-libs-multiarch missing from repositories To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ia32-libs/+bug/971599/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
