It would be good to know the first v3.3 kernel that fixed this bug. >From the bug comments, we know this bug exists in the latest stabale kernel(3.2.13). The bug does not exist in the latest v3.3 kernel. However, there were several release candidates between v3.2.13 and v3.3.
Would it be possible for folks to test some of the release candidates to help identify in which version it was fixed? All of the release candidates can be downloaded from: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ The names are v3.3-rc1-precise through v3.3-rc7-precise/ The quickest way would be to start testing in the middle, say v3.3-rc3-precise or v3.3-rc4-precise.
