Public bug reported:

I have two screens. There's a window on the right screen, maximized. When I
click on the left screen on the gray surface where there's the red X if the
focus is on a window on the left screen (that button is not visible right now,
as the focus is on a window on the right screen), that window is closed. Same
thing with toggle-maximize and minimize buttons. When I click the gray area, it
behaves as if it was a button.
Expected behaviour: Nothing should happen, as there are no buttons visible.
