Public bug reported: When I run qemu-system-x86_64 and the vdeq wrapper (so that I can use -net vde,...) I get the following warning:
NOTE: vdeq is now DEPRECATED -- both QEMU and KVM have native support for VDE. This binary will be removed soon from the distribution, consider stopping using it. If I use my own qemu-kvm ppa package that has vde built in, then I don't need vdeq. https://launchpad.net/~dschauer/+archive/qemu-kvm-vde ** Affects: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/965778 Title: qemu-kvm needs vde built in as vdeq is deprecated To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu-kvm/+bug/965778/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
