Nicholas, the dash only responds to Super key taps <= 0.25 seconds long.
If you have it pressed longer than that then it won't respond.
Also, there was a bug found this week where the above timing could be
quite inaccurate on some systems. So even if you tapped Super quickly,
some machines would not detect it properly. That is fixed in bug 953089.
So I am marking this as a duplicate of that one.
