I've installed 3.3 but it didn't boot. [ 35.803405] BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at 35ee1000 [ 35.803416] IP: [<f89539a4>] firegl_stub_open+0x94/0x1c0 [fglrx] [ 35.803492] *pdpt = 0000000036ec5001 *pde = 0000000000000000 [ 35.803499] Oops: 0002 [#1] SMP
I've uninstalled fglrx and then it worked. And suspend/resume did as well, which made me curious to try 3.2 without fglrx. Same result, suspend/resume works. So the problem is most likely with fglrx then. I had fglrx installed on 11.04 though, and suspend/resume worked as well. ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/959306 Title: precise: suspend doesn't work on lenovo thinkpad x121e (regression) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/959306/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
