I still have the same problem. It is not an upgrade and I have never had Samba installed on this computer before. As cleentrax reports, this happened after trying to install samba from the Shared Folders dialogue. Removing the two symlinks allows me to install with no problems. (Could this be a bug in the Shared Folders program?)
