Greetings, I am a SynCE project admin and work on it upstream. I just wanted to say that I have already packaged the following for the 0.10.0 release: * libsynce -- update * librapi2 -- update * librra -- update * librtfcomp -- new package * synce-gnomevfs -- new package * odccm -- new packaeg * usb-rndis -- new package -- uses module-assistant * vdccm -- update * (synce-serial -- I forgot to do this one earlier, and I'm doing it now) These are available at my repository: http://jonnylamb.com/debian/
I am currently in the process of getting these into Debian and am awaiting my sponsor. There are complications about packaging pywbxml because it requires the SynCE-updated libwbxml2, and the libwbxml2 maintainer is being unresponsive at the moment -- his Trac site (http://libwbxml.aymerick.com:8080/) is down at the moment, and hasn't committed anything to SVN for a while now. This complication is documented on the website. Of course if we wait around these will get into Ubuntu when Debian unstable is copied next, but if it is really required, I could try and get these into Ubuntu independently.
