This is a bug of libreoffice-voikko, not libreoffice itself, which is
why many Finnish people see this problem. The libreoffice-voikko
upstream is aware of the problem, but no-one there has proposed a fix so
far.

Since this is an earlier report than the actual bug #917510 which was
filed against libreoffice-voikko, I'm modifying this bug report to
represent the actual problem.

If you are subscriber to this bug by one of the duplicates it has, but
you do not have libreoffice-voikko installed, please detach your bug
report from this one. I may do that myself as well if I can separate
Finnish users from the rest (separating first one of the bugs and then
marking others duplicates of that one).

+ Update:
+
+ This bug report was originally filed against libreoffice, but the
+ problem lies in libreoffice-voikko instead. Bug #917510 was the original
+ report about that.
+
+ Original bug report:

Libreoffice seems to crash randomly on exit. Half a minute after closing
the window the crash notification shows up. I'm using Natty. Sometimes
the recovery dialog shows upon restart which is the only annoyance of
  this bug.
