Public bug reported: supershow is a nice python frontend to swftools (which I have been told will be packaged for an upcoming ubuntu release).
The user views and advances her pdf slideshow in synch with a playing audio file. Supershow then packages the synchronized pdf slideshow and audio file as an SWF file.
