I don't really understand why but in some combinations the touchpad is enabled in the second display too... If I do: switch users the touchpad is not usable at all. to enable it I must do ctrl-alt-f7 (back to normal display) ctrl-alt-f8 (console vt) alt-f9 (back to the new display, with the touchpad working)
