I've got to pipe up with a "me too"[tm]. HP DV4150US Intel Pentium M Processor 1.6 Ghz with 2G of ram.
When I watch a video on YouTube, or do anything fairly CPU intesive for 3-5 minutes, the whole laptop shuts off. I've tried some of the above things, and get the same "throttling control: no & limit interface: no" stuff. This is a major bug... you can typically find me on #ubuntu or #ubuntu- offtopic as "Trae" if you are looking for some sympathy or you know how to help me fix this issue. tx in advance!
