I use workspaces way more dynamically. Maybe if i would have PC for one specific group of tasks that would be fixed on different workspaces and would not change...
And still i would expect to have application spread across all the workspaces because i would not have to think where is what and why should i? And what was the problem you had? Accidentally pressing on the wrong window?
