The setup of modems before and after switching can not be influenced by usb_modeswitch. The device firmware is responsible for that. Did you do a device update perhaps?
To disable mode switching temporarily and access the pseudo CD-ROM, you can also set the "DisableSwitching" parameter in /etc/usb_modeswitch.conf to 1. Note that in the majority of cases the files on that install drive are not very useful except for the MS Windows system. And don't confuse the MicroSD card slot of the modem (your interface 5) with the install storage. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/956783 Title: Nokia Modem CS-19 doesn't work (probably wrong ID) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usb-modeswitch-data/+bug/956783/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
