Since flash is closed source software, we will be unable to fix it, if
it turns out to be the problem.  However, it's possible that the problem
is actually in firefox, or at least that a work around can be found.

It would be useful to find if firefox or flash outputs any debug
information when it dies.  Can you run firefox from a terminal, trigger
this bug, and then post all the output (if any) that firefox gives in
the terminal?
