Ok, I have updated to the latest kdelibs, and the problem happened
again. I must say I cannot be completely positive about it being
absolutely reproducible. I am reluctant at testing it more often because
once it decides that it goes in hibernation I can not make it change its
mind, and I have never managed to have my laptop properly thaw (I should
file another bug I guess). Another thing I have noticed (that could be
related or not) is that the battery monitor in the task bar randomly
assigns 0 and 1 to either of my battery. Currently 0=travel and
1=primary, which is not consistent with what upower tells...
