Thanks Phillip. After a deeper research, i found that grub creates, by default, entries for all older kernel images , so it's really not a bug. It's the normal behaviour of grub.
To keep the Grub screen less "polluted" i used a program called "grub- customizer", to remove some entries, following this tutorial: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1664134. This tip, may be useful for those who want remove some entries from the initial screen without delete the kernel images. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/947482 Title: Precise GRUB create several entries of previous versions after installed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/947482/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
