This is also happening on my iMac running Oneiric, kernel 3.0.0-16-generic. Initially the errors seem benign but eventually network performance degrades to unusable speeds. I have no problems if I use the vendor sk98lin driver compiled against the linux- image-2.6.35-22-generic kernel. Foresto's sk98lin-dkms PPA (above) looks like a better alternative (testing now).
