It is certainly possible to reproduce a "not maximising" behaviour by playing around with the trigger point, but the effect also doesn't show (i.e. can drag to top with nothing happening). It is also possible to trigger a maximise without the effect showing up.
Both initially seemed to be quite easy to do with a terminal window, but the former is not reproducing anymore. I'm not sure if this is intentional behaviour. I haven't been able to trigger the translucent effect triggering without maximising, but perhaps the behaviours are related. No maximise (not 100%): * move slowly over border * flick back and forth Maximise without effect: * send terminal to the left-half position (half-screen effect shows) * now pull it to the top (maximises without effect) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/940843 Title: Drag to top fails to maximise window, leaves translucent effect displaying To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/940843/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
