You have been subscribed to a public bug: Typing the name of a contact in the activity pane shows an icon shows results, but the shortcuts cannot be opened.
To Reproduce: 1. Install an app that stores contacts (e.g. Empathy/Pidgin) 2. Type the name of a contact in activity pane search bar 3. Click on the contact shortcut Result: A message will appear saying: Execution of "gnome-contacts" failed: Command not found. Intended Result: The contact should be shown. Fix: This can be fixed by installing the "gnome-contacts" package. Seems it may be a missing dependancy or something? Also, here's the equivalent bug in Fedora 16: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=752259 ** Affects: gnome-contacts (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Can't open Gnome Contact from Activity Pane https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/944322 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
