Public bug reported: I've noticed this randomly starting in Oneiric and is still present in Precise. I can receive an IM and see the name and time in the MM. When I select it, the chat window will appear, but it will be blank.
It seems to be more common with people that I chat with infrequently. If I select the person from the empathy contact list, it seem to work fine.
