Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: e2fsprogs

e2fsck should have a progress bar for each operation it's doing .

I have a 150GB hard drive formatted in ext3 . That disk is checked after 26
mount . But I always think my computer is hanging when the check is being done
(it takes at least 15 minutes ). And I always had to stop the process and mount
my disk myself .
Today , I wanted to understand what was happening so I ran fsck on my 7GB ext3
partition and understood that the check were being done but there was no sign
of what was happening .

Imagine an average user that doesn't know about fsck. He would have
think it's a real issue.

** Affects: e2fsprogs (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
