Hello, Maraschin. This is a design decision by Unity to have an already- opened application take focus once a user clicks on it. In order to open another instance of the application you can do a multitude of things:
1) Middle-click on the icon to create a new instance of the program 2) Right-click on the icon of the program for a quicklist (often times there is an option for a new window) 3) Use the program's menu dialogues in order to open a new instance of the program. Thank you for your report! But, as I stated before, this is intentional design. As such, this report will be closed. ** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/860884 Title: Try to open an already opened app on a different workspace will get you back to the first workspace To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/860884/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
