Are you sure that T410 support Sennheiser HD280pro headphones ?

Does combo audio jack mean those headset for mobile phone which have mic
and headphone ?

You can try hda jack sense test or hda-verb to check whether both jack detect 
of hp and mic ( 0x19 and 0x1b)
or only one of them can be used for jack detect


sudo hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x19 get_pin_sense 0
sudo hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x1b get_pin_sense 0
