Public bug reported: Some files cause elementtidy so crash the Python interpreter. This has been tested on 2 different 64-bit machines running Ubuntu 11.10 (mine and the attached test was also run by dtmbmw325i in #ubuntu on freenode).
I have attached a minimal example file and script which demonstrates the problem. In an effort to debug this I downloaded the sources, patched, recompiled and installed... The problem then went away! I guess that this would suggest an old problem in a version of gcc from February 2005; suggest recompiling and repackaging to fix. ** Affects: elementtidy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/940749 Title: Segfault in _elementtidy.so when parsing trivial HTML.
