Nope, it doesn't happens in guest session :) Yes, gnome-settings-daemon process is running :) The terminal output from "gsettings get org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xsettings active": me4oslav@me4oslav-laptop:~$ gsettings get org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xsettings active false me4oslav@me4oslav-laptop:~$ I also took the liberty of investigating a bit more and found out something that you may found interesting. Here is what I did: Created a new user and logged in in Gnome-Shell and voila - no bug. Then I logged out and logged in, but tnis time in Unity and the bug appeared. However I'm not 100% sure that this is caused by Unity, cuz one of the affected guys (Cassidy James) said to me that he was affected by it on a machine he is been testing Pantheon (elementary OS DS). That and the fact that I logged in Unity in Guest Session and there was no bug there :P
