I realize the chromatic BFB is intended. With the default Unity setup it fits just fine. Though I'd argue that the button IS an amalgamation, like the other launchers. Only slightly different so that it stands out as, well the BFB. But having one coloured box in the bar while the rest are clear is a visual distraction. IMO the old one fit better with backlight off, not ugly at all. This, not so much. Glad to see you switched from won't fix to opinion, that's exactly what this is about. Design decisions get changed in Ubuntu all the time.
