Public bug reported:

When using Unity the mouse focus will be stolen by indicator menus.

To reproduce:
1. Open Nautilus
2. Hover over Nautilus' search option, revealing it is a button.
3. Click on the Messaging Menu
4. Without closing the menu, hover over Nautilus' search option

What happens: 
Nothing.

What is expected:
The option should have the "button-ness" revealed.
