Luckily applications with own PostScript interpreters (or where poppler is not used) are not affected by this problem: example: LibreOffice (haven't had any problems yet, or I haven't noticed), GIMP, Inkscape, Adobe Reader. As I could read from internal forums, that it seems, that direct IP printing is not being affected by the problem; the problem comes basically from the internally used InforPrint Management service. So as an alternative choice you could try using the direct IP printing method as well.
