Public bug reported: In Precise, vim is unable to reassert control of the mouse once it has started. The mouse works normally upon starting vim. If it loses control of the mouse in the pseudo-terminal, however, perhaps due to being suspended with ^Z, or turning the mouse off with ':set mouse=', then vim becomes unable to regain control of the mouse when it should, such as being resumed or ':set mouse=a'.
The expected behavior is that suspending should have no effect on the mouse within vim, and clearing and resetting the mouse variable should also have no effect on the mouse. ** Affects: vim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: precise regression -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/938469 Title: vim cannot regain control of mouse To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vim/+bug/938469/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
