Public bug reported: I've come to love the new main dash home screen. However, a problem with it is that when I search for an application and then launch that application, the search is remembered the next time I open the dash. This causes the information on the screen to be "wrong" in the sense that it doesn't display the most recent stuff, but the most recent stuff according to my old search. In order to see the most recent stuff, you then have to first clear the search field. But it's not that easy to notice, so it's easy to forget.
The dash and all lenses should forget searches when closed.
