Ok let's hope your update goes well :) If you can't reproduce this bug I will have to close it because we lack all crucial information to solve it. Concerning your thoughts about update/upgrade, I think you should open a new bug if it hasn't already been reported, but I don't know if this is technically possible, this reboot isn't just for fun I think.
