I saw the solution screenshot. It's an icon that shows a non-persistent menu when clicked. If people complain that they're trying hard to target the mouse pointer, because the icon is too small, do as I say:
These things are called app buttons. The Firefox app button is the label Firefox inside a button. Make the *app name*'s app button be the label *app name* inside a button.
