Well, it's updated "by hand" already, so I won't be able to post the message.
Some info I thought could be important: 1. I had pidgin package from www.getdeb.net installed prior to the upgrade. 2. I upgrade with dist-upgrade, having only ubuntu repos (main, universe, multiverse, restricted from normal, backports, proposed, security, updates - I know many are not functional). 3. After the installation I had to dpkg -i /var/cache/apt/archives/pidgin package.
